Welcome, friend, and enter... the Cheapass household. (Not literally, we probably can't afford to feed you without notice!) This really will be a bit of everything - different crafts, cooking, kids, everyday life, mental health, and anything else that takes my fancy! I'm just a normal weirdo person, living a really not very interesting life - but that life currently requires me (us) to save where we can, go without if necessary, and employ a certain amount of make do and mend. Luckily I'm generally inclined in that direction anyway, but there's always more to learn! And while I do like saving money and finding bargains, I also very much like pretty things and little luxuries, so a lot of this is about how to balance those desires.
Some people call it being thrifty, some like to say they're frugal, and both of those are good things. But I share cheapass batch-cooking recipes, and cheapass crafting tips, because that's who I am (also, I swear a lot). So once again, welcome to...
The Cheapass* Life.
Yours cheaply,
C x
*I'm British, I just happen to like the word. It's not a pejorative, I just use it as another way of saying 'frugal' or 'money-saving'. Cheap doesn't have to be the same as cheap-and-nasty, or mean low-quality or unpleasant
